Mumbai, Feb 17 (PTI) Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who underwent a successful surgery for a tear on his left shoulder muscle at the Breach Candy hospital here, was discharged today. Shoulder specialist Dr Sanjay Desai, who performed the operation on the 43-year-old actor-producer told PTI that Khan had recovered well."He resumed his normal diet and had a sound sleep. We have permitted him to go home," he said.
The actor will be out of action for four to six weeks and will be fully fit in four to six months time. Khan was operated yesterday after he returned from London where he attended the premiere of his latest home production "Billu". He had injured himself on the sets of "Dulha Mil gaya" in November last year and had shot for "My Name is Khan''in Los Angeles for 45 days at a stretch. He was told by his doctors last month about the urgency to get the tear in the main muscle of his left shoulder fixed. Khan decided to undergo the operation after release of "Billu".
