Sydney, Feb 17 (PTI) Pop star Pink has joined the long list of celebrities who have donated towards the relief fund for Australia's wildfire victims. The singer is planning to donate USD 250,000 to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal, for use in helping rebuild the communities across Victoria devastated by bush fires nine days ago, Herald Sun reported.

She made the decision to donate after seeing the images of human loss caused by the fires in the state of Victoria where more than 180 people have died.

"I've been really affected by the media images of the tragic bush fire, as in Victoria. There is little anyone can do at such a long distance away but I wanted to make a tangible expression of support," she said on her official website.

Pink's biggest fan base outside the US is in Australia, where she will be touring in May and June this year.
