 Shahid Kapur is on a career high. Soon after the super success of solo hits 'Vivaah' and 'Jab We Met', Shahid is increasingly turning out to be amongst the select few who can carry a solo hero film on his young shoulder. A commendable feat considering that most of the hits delivered last year in Bollywood were multi-starrers. Even Shahid is being very selective with the project and the banner he signs. And the industry too has reposed the faith in him. His forthcoming solo hero projects include Aziz Mirza's 'Kismat Konnection', Ken Ghosh's musical, two films with Yashraj Films and a film to be directed by powerhouse performer dad, Pankaj Kapoor.
The industry too is abuzz about his depth and acting prowess and are betting big time on him. They even consider him in the Aamir Khan mould in the acting front, since he is quite young and has a long way to go. And now the industry reports that Shahid has been signed by none other than master craftsman, Vishal Bharadwaj for his next production, a virtual stamp of approval of Shahid capabilities and growth curve as an actor.
It Surely seems like the first chapter of 'star–actor' Shahid Kapur's journey to super stardom has already been scripted!.
