The recent controversial discussion in Bollywood have predominantly consisted of the spat between T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar, and filmmakers Ramgopal Varma and Mukesh Bhatt. The two have accused Bhushan Kumar of forgery and malpractices involving their upcoming projects, 'Sarkar Raj' and 'Jannat' respectively.
A rather seething Bhushan Kumar, while denying all the charges, threw the ball into the opposite court by counter attacking. He asks, why there were no forgery charges labelled against his company, when working with top stars/makers like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Rakesh Roshan, B.R Chopra, Ashtavinayak, Sajid Nadiadwala etc. He further adds that he is not mad to resort to forgery with two small time, down and out makers, like Ramgopal Varma and Mukesh Bhatt. He even goes to the extent of calling them 'tattus'!
To drive home his point of view he went on to say that that his company is worth Rs. 7,500 crore and that he will not risk the reputation of his company by resorting to forgeries. Well, we are sure that is not the last that we have heard on the matter. However, just last week, T-Series and Vishesh Films have reached a compromise, whereby T-Series had withdrawn all its claims on the music rights of 'Jannat', handing them over to Sony BMG. Let us now wait and see if any such compromise takes place between Ramu and Bhushan Kumar, as their tiff has taken a serious turn and both the parties have gone to court regarding their dispute.
