A delegation comprising woman of substance, Preity Zinta, Union women and child development minister Renuka Chaudhary and representatives from NGOs and FICCI Ladies Organaisation, asked the finance minister P. Chaidambaram to grant sops from women in his forthcoming budget.

They sought benefits like lower interest rates on home loans, tax exemption on goods produced by women and tax waiver on products used by women.
