London, Feb 28 (PTI) The Rock band "Faith No More" has announced their reunion for a tour later this year. "During the entire ten years that have passed since our decision to break up we've experienced constant rumors and requests from fans and promoters alike," they said in a statement, the Contactmusic.Com reported.

"What's changed is that this year, for the first time, we've all decided to sit down together and talk about it," the statement said.

"And what we've discovered is that time has afforded us enough distance to look back on our years together through a clearer lens and made us realise that through all the hard work, the music still sounds good, and we are beginning to appreciate the fact that we might have actually done something right and so with this we've decided to hold our collective breaths and jump off this cliff.... Back, god forbid, into the monkey cage!!!" The Epic stars last played together in Lisbon in April 1998.

And now 12 years after their last album, "Album of the Year" was released, the band will tour Europe this summer.

During the peak of their success, "Faith No More" was nominated for a best album Grammy, with 1990 release "The Real Thing" selling more than four million copies worldwide.
