Having garnered several awards at many prestigious film festivals, 'Blue Mountains', produced by Raujesh Jain, revolves around the journey of a young boy, Som, played by debutant Yatharth Rathnam, from a picturesque hill station who gets trapped in the vicious circle of reality TV. Suman Ganguli, the director, is excited about the film's release. "I cannot wait for the audience to watch Blue Mountains, as it is a story about prevailing times. It is an uplifting tale of losing glory but finding redemption, which is the best way to live this crazy adventure called life."
The music of the film has been composed by the late Aadesh Srivastava, Monty Sharma and Sandeep Surya with playback by musical maestros such as Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal, Kailash Kher, Suraj Jagan, Sadhna Sargam and Yatharth Rathnam. Just like the changing colours of the blue mountains through the changing seasons, the film explores changing human emotions beyond mere winning or losing in life. The film has travelled to various film festivals across the country, and won many awards including the Best Feature Film at the 19th International Children's Film Festival. Presented by Krish Movies, Blue Mountains is slated to hit theatres across India on April 7.
