London, Mar 4 (PTI) 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson arrived in Britain to announce plans for a grand 150 million pound comeback after 12 years. The 50-year-old pop star, whose last tour was in 1997, arrived here yesterday. Jackson is expected to confirm the plan about his 30 concert series at London's O2 Arena over the summer tomorrow, the Sun.Co.Uk reported He is also planning to start work on a new album as well.

Jackson will pick up around 5 million pound from each show which he hopes will help him to clear astronomical debts.

The O2 arena, with the capacity of 20,000, is the venue where singer Prince played for 21 nights in 2007, and where Britney Spears will be performing for eight nights in June.

The man behind "Thriller", the best-selling album of all time, Jackson will reportedly follow a similar pattern of a run of gigs at one venue, rather than an extensive tour.

Reports that Jackson will play a record-breaking stint of dates at the southeast London arena have been making rounds for months.

Jackson is said to be undergoing treatment for severe skin infection but his publicist has dismissed reports of his ill health.
