Ghai On ´Black & White´ - ´Some May Like It, Others May Not
- Abid           Let us know what you think about this story

This Friday's only major release is Subhash Ghai's 'Black & White'. The Anil Kapoor, Anurag Sinha (newcomer) and Shefali Shah starrer is a very different film from what is normally expected of the former showman. It has true to life characters and is shot on real locations of New Delhi's Chandni Chowk, to give the film a realistic look. Unlike the general perception of 'B & W' being the umpteenth film on terrorism, with a few 'taali maar' (clapworthy) dialogues and a dose of patriotism, that is definitely not the case.

As per the producer-director Subhash Ghai himself, 'Black & White' is a very thought provoking film, with an emotional and a positive story. Ghai does not hesitate to admit that that he is fully aware that some sections of the audience may like the film, while others may not. And accepts that the film may work or it may not, as it is not an out and out massy movie. He concludes by saying that he has made the film without any fear and has not compromised in any way, on its making, going completely with his strong belief and confidence in the script.

Well, here is wishing a resounding comeback to the majestic filmmaker, who gave us some magnificient movies like 'Karz', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Karma', 'Saudagar' and 'Pardes', to name few.
