Mumbai, Mar 11 (PTI) Production studio, Eros International has announced the sequel to Sujoy Ghosh-directed fantasy film "Aladin" even before its release in July. "'Aladin' is one of the first few Hindi films for which a film studio announced plans to produce a sequel before the release of the film," a spokesperson for Eros International, that will distribute the film worldwide, said.

The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Riteish Deshmukh, is set for a July 24 release. It marks the debut of Jacqueline Fernandes.

Having seen the first cut of 'Aladin', Eros had announced the sequel even before the film's release where the original cast is expected to return, the spokesperson added.

The sequel is slated to go on floors mid next year.

Ghosh, who is busy with the post-production of the film said, "'Aladin' is packed with action, adventure, music and romance."
