Clad in a black bra, shorts, boots and fishnet tights, it looked as if the singer's pole-dancing routine may have been responsible for the unsightly marks.

The 27-year-old singer, who has two young sons, is also at the centre of fresh controversy as she has had a series of wardrobe malfunctions during the tour.

Meanwhile, Spear's father Jamie fired three dancers for suspected drug use in a bid to keep the star away from temptation.

The dancers were caught out by a drug test ordered by Jamie. A drug test clause was reportedly written into the contracts of all the singer's 50-plus dancers.

Spears is touring after five years, which saw her through marriages, two divorces and a very public meltdown, as a result of which the singer lost custody of her two sons to ex-husband Kevin Federeline.
