Sanjana Iyer (Srinivasan) is a born and bred Indian actress based in NYC, having recently graduated from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She is making her country India proud by her theatrical career in the US. Graduated and Completed her Two Year Professional Conservatory at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, New York (2014-2016), this girl, born and bred in India is making her country India very much proud by acting in different plays and getting huge recognition for the same. Being a vegan food enthusiast and practicing yogi when she's not on stage, Sanjana Iyer's mission is to diversify how India is represented in the industry in USA. She aims at getting recognition in the theatre industry for her versatility. Already being well-established in the New York theatre scene, Sanjana has worked in abstract theatre forms such as devised movement theatre - 'The Clockwork Boy", written by Matt Tiemstra, for the Thespis Theatre Festival 2016 in New York. She also has worked with the Harold Clurman Lab Theatre in their annual "First Breath Play-reading Series", in a production of "Nadleehi And the Coyote".
Furthermore, she has worked with mime actor Bill Bowers who was trained with the legend, Marcel Marceau. And for this, she would love to thank all her mentors at Adler, along with her friends and family for their unconditional support. At just the age of 22 years, Sanjana Iyer is possessed with a strong classical theatre background. She also has a strong physical theatre experience, including the art forms of Lecoq and Commedia dell'arte. Sanjana has been involved with theatre since the age of 11, where she was first introduced to it in her middle school years in the UK.
