Stacy Keach stable after stroke

London, Mar 19 (PTI) TV and theatre actor Stacy Keach is stable after suffering a stroke, according to his representatives. The actor was hospitalised in Los Angeles on March 17 for an unknown medical complaint while on tour with hit play "Frost/Nixon", the Contactmusic reported.

His spokesman Dick Guttman said, "Keach is in a stable condition" and representatives for the actor revealed that "he has suffered no impairment whatsoever" of his motor or speech abilities from the stroke.

"He remains in hospital for observation and routine precautionary procedures. The producers of Frost/Nixon look forward to his speedy recovery and to his return to the show as soon as he is able," a source added.

Keach was playing former President Richard Nixon in the touring play. Representatives have confirmed the 67-year-old "Mike Hammer" star experienced a mild stroke.
