With the advent of more and more people from the North, the film industry is finally waking up to the talents from outside Bombay, and filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Imtiaz Ali (both from Bihar), Anubhav Sinha, singers like Alka Yagnik, Ajay Jhingran (all three from U.P) are household names.

Coming back to Divynidhi Sharma, he belongs to the University town of Aligarh in Western Uttar Pradesh and is a graduate from the Aligarh Muslim University. Since childhood he was interested in writing stories and honed his skills further by writing screenplays of many successful television serials. His inspiration are two famous film personalities from Aligarh, Javed Akhtar and legendary Kavi Gopaldas Neeraj and of course, Gulzar.

Divynidhi's parents are very happy that their son’s debut film is releasing today and when they were told that the it is carrying some positive reports, they were over the moon. Divynidhi's father is a police officer and mother a teacher and both have confidence that their son will make a name for himself, just like his idols, Javed Akhtar and Kavi Gopaldas Neeraj and make Aligarh and India proud.
