Last year's only clean success for Akshay Kumar came through the Priyadarshan directed 'De Dana Dan'. Releasing during the last quarter of the year, it once again consolidated the fact that the Akshay-Priyan combo was failproof.

Amongst the merits of the movie the breathtaking locales of Singapore were quite eye catching. Though the film (including the climax) was also shot Mumbai's Filmcity and Mehboob studios, the major portion of 'De Dana Dan' was based in what is known as Uniquely Singapore!

With the success of the film, Singapore which boasts some of the region's best attractions in one small, convenient island, now awaits more Hindi films to exploit its superb locales and facilities.
