With the first match of the second edition of the Indian Premier League, just a few hours away, excitement is at its peak! The inaugural match will feature last years champion RAJASTHAN ROYALS against ROYAL CHALLENGERS, BANGALORE. While RAJASTHAN ROYALS new owner is Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE owner by Vijay Mallya.

While that is all the good news, brace yourself for some not so good news. Beleaguered multiplexes may not be able to screen the IPL 2 matches after all. The deal with Sony for the screening rights did not work out, just like their ongoing tussle with the distributors and exhibitors.
