As ironic and unbelieveable as it may sound, but the angelic child star of 'Slumdog Millionaire', Rubina Ali, was offered for sale by her own father for a sum of 2 lakh pounds!

As per the details, during a sting operation, a UK based website, posing as a Dubai sheikh, offered to buy the child for adoptation.

After being caught, Rubina Ali's father, Rafiq gave an excuse to trying to 'liberate Rubina from poverty', as he got no financial benefit from 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
