On Maharashtra Day, the grand event for roller skating and hula hoop was recently organized by world skating champion Rishi Sarode in Mumbai. Aged between five to eleven years, eight girls and a boy for the first time in history performed hula hoop wearing on quad skates for six minutes and four seconds, creating a world record. But that's not all. One boy named Jash Sarode created a unique world by performing hula-hoop on inline skates for seven minutes. Beauty queen and Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, who was recently seen in the song Haseeno Ka Deewana, graced the event as a chief guest. Urvashi, who is national level basketball player, was quite elated to be at this event. She congratulated the kids on their special achievement.
But preparing these kids for this mega event was not an easy task. Rishi Sarode, who mentored these kids, said, "We prepared for more than a year for this event and I am quite proud that these kids have accomplished a world record at such a young age. It's been really a tough journey for all of us. I had to go through their mentality and emotional needs to understand these kids. These kids are delicate yet very powerful."
