Hrithik aside, Barbara also thinks, “Shah Rukh Khan is a really nice guy.”

And while Barbara has matched steps with Hrithik, she doesn’t consider herself a good dancer at all. Instead, she loves acting and says that she did not ever imagine herself in Bollywood, or in an English film, for that matter.

“Kites is my career’s biggest release,” says Barbara who has earlier played the challenging roles of a cancer-stricken child’s mother and a sociopath in Spanish cinema. “Kites is a beautiful love story between two people who do not speak the same language but yet, fall in love,” she adds.

In the film, Barbara plays a Mexican, Natasha, who goes to the US for money, but suddenly finds true love.
