Mumbai, May 9 (PTI) Mumbai Indians may be letting down their fans with their inconsistent form in the ongoing IPL, but they have found an ardent supporter in Bollywood actor John Abraham, who is backing the team to emerge victorious in the cash-rich Twenty20 tournament. "Being a Mumbaikar, my loyalty is completely towards the Mumbai Indians," the actor told PTI here.

"Cricket is a big craze in India. I myself being a cricket fan, I am keeping a track on what's all happening in the Indian Premier League (IPL)," John said.

The actor said that he is also fan of Chennai Super Kings, a team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

"Apart from Mumbai Indians, if I support any other team, it is the Chennai Super Kings. But it is purely because of Mahi (Dhoni)," said the actor whose upcoming film, 'Hook Ya Crook' is set in the backdrop of cricket.

Asked whether he would be interested in owning an IPL franchise like his Bollywood counterparts Preity Zinta (Kings XI Punjab), Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla (Kolkata Knight Riders) and Shilpa Shetty (Rajasthan Royals), the actor said "I am not rich enough".

"I cannot buy an IPL team as there is a huge difference in the bank account of Mr Ambani and me," the actor said in a lighter vein.
