Masaba Gupta to visit Cannes Film Festival 2016 for Raman Raghav 2.0 premiere

Anurag is returning to the Directors' Fortnight sidebar at Cannes this year with his latest thriller, in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the infamous serial killer.

Interestingly, Masaba is considered as the first Indian designer making a solo appearance at Cannes. Earlier, Rohit Bal attended the film festival with Deepika Padukone.

Though Masaba may not be walking the prestigious red carpet, her presence will definitely be a major source of encouragement for Madhu, who is anxiously awaiting the film's release.

Masaba is inundated with offers from several international brands to sport their accessories at the festival scheduled next week. While Masaba will be seen sporting her own creation, her shoes will be sponsored by Christian Louboutin.

Masaba says, "I am excited about attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. I will be cheering for the film's team, and my husband, Madhu."
