Nainital, June 3 (PTI) You can trace the genesis of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's acting career in his Kindgarten days when he played the role of a chicken. "The stage had been a constant feature with me during my entire schooling years, right from the Kindergarten where if I recollect I played a chicken flapping my feathers and singing a ditty from some prominent nursery rhyme", the actor says in his blog Posting the blog to mark his return to his alma mater the prestigious Sherwood College here after half a century to attend its Foundation Day, Bachchan says he had played the role of Mayor in Russian playwright Nikolai Gogol's "Government Inspector" during his Sherwood College days and won the best actor's trophy in 1957.
