British filmmaker Boyle to be back in Mumbai for new project

Mumbai, June 7 (PTI) Following the global success of his Oscar winning Mumbai-based film "Slumdog Millionaire", British filmmaker Danny Boyle will be back in the metropolis for a new project. Boyle and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap have decided to work on a film which will be based in Mumbai.

Anurag told PTI that he and Boyle have decided to work together and the film will be based in Mumbai.

"We are yet to work out the details of the project," he said.

Anurag's last film Abhay Deol starrer "Dev D" did good business at the box office.

Anurag said he was excited about the idea and is good enough to be a reason for him to take up any project be it films, television or theatre.

He will host a documentary series on Fox History and Entertainment channel called "True Stories" which will go on air from June 12.
