London, June 9 (PTI) Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola has come out in defence of late acting legend Marlon Brando saying that he was a misunderstood eccentric. Oscar winning director who cast Brando in two of his most famous roles as mafia boss Don Vito Corleone in 'The Godfather' and Colonel Kurtz in 'Apocalypse Now' insists that Brando's reputation as a difficult star was unfair, Contactmusic reported. "Marlon was never hard to work with. His behaviour was a little eccentric on the set. He was like a bad boy and did what he wanted. But as an actor he was never hard to work with," Coppola said.
