Thiruvananthapuram, June 10 (PTI) Good films produced on low budgets were not getting audience due to lack of proper distribution network, Priyanandanan, whose film `Pulijanmam' won the national award for best film in 2006, said today. "I am happy to get the honour and it is a great recognition. However, it is saddening to note that off-track films are not getting distributors," he said.
Lenin Rajendran, whose film `Rathri Mazha' won the award for best choreography said it was an integral part of the film. The choreographers had executed it beautifully and it could not be separated from the film. "The award is a success for the film," he said. Madhu Kaithapram, who shared the best debut director award for his `Ekantham' with Kabir Khan's `Kabul Express' said he was excited to receive the award. Jury member Harikumar told PTI that he was happy that the new entrants to film field from Kerala got noticed. "Many new talents often go unnoticed with lack of forceful arguments in jury meetings," he said.
