London, June 10 (PTI) Rapper 50 Cent has started getting bored of hip hop, because he believes that the genre has lost it's creative streak with artistes more keen on making money than music. The 'Candy Shop' star, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, says that people's quest for money is starting to undermine the genre and his interest is therefore "dwindling away", reported Contactmusic.

"I think people are so conscious of the numbers they're not being creative anymore,"said the star.

The star, whose albums have achieved multi-platinum success, also revealed that his much awaited album 'Before I Self Destruct' will release later this year and will Boast of a number of collaborations.

The rapper also revealed that collaborating with superstars like Justin Timberlake was a lot more difficult than working with lesser known artistes.

"My duet with Justin Timberlake, for example, there is more compromise for me there. The content is similar to what you can see from 50 Cent, but the actual rap, style and cadence is different. But when I go into the song with Wisin and Yandel I didn't even have to make those cadence changes," said 50 Cent.
