London, June 11 (PTI) Just weeks after the death of his young daughter Exodus, former boxing champion Mike Tyson has wed long time girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony. Four-year-old Exodus from Tyson's second marriage to Monica Turner had died last month after accidentally wrapping a cord around her neck.

The wedding took place on Saturday at the La Bella Wedding Chapel with the couple applying for a marriage license just 30 minutes before their wedding, reported Contactmusic.

Chapel's spokesman Shawn Absher said, "The couple were very happy and sincere before saying their vows. They were very heartwarming, and I think they really do love each other." The couple did not invite any guests to the ceremony, and Spicer shunned a traditional gown instead wearing an "appropriate dress" while Tyson opted for a suit and tie.

The 42-year-old retired pugilist wants all pictures of the nuptials to be kept private.

This is the third time the controversial sportsman, who has six other children has wed.

His 1988 marriage to actress Robin Givens lasted a year, while his union with Monica Turner ended after almost six years.
