London, Jun 13 (PTI) Russell Crowe is known to be a demanding star but the actor outdid himself by asking to be flown in a helicopter every morning to the sets of his upcoming film Robin Hood. The 'Gladiator' star did not want to stay near the set in Wales and is reportedly insisting on daily helicopter flights to and from the Windsor mansion where he is living, the Mirror online reported.

Director Ridley Scott is reportedly not too keen on the idea, but Crowe's publicist Alan Nierob denies any friction between the director and the 45-year-old star.

"It's a good scene down there. Everything is on schedule," Nieriob said.
