Rampal will win for sure, predicts co-star Farhan Akhtar

"He is winning. I am sure about it," said a beaming Farhan Akhtar when asked about Rampal's chances at winning against Abhishek Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Vinay Pathak who have been nominated in the 'Best Supporting Actor' category.

Meanwhile, Rampal expressed hope that the film which has been nominated in eight categories including a nod for 'Best Film' makes a clean sweep at the awards.

"Being nominated feels great. If it is a clean sweep nothing like it and 'Rock On' has been such a special film for me and for all of us that if I can contribute to the trophies that it wins then great," the actor told PTI in an interview here.

The two actors who play struggling musicians in the film have been performing together in concerts around India as well as abroad and said that their bonding stays alive through music.

"We have done some concerts in Dubai together. The music of the film and our relationship has transcended the film. Lots of people are asking us to come and perform. We will go and do it and that's how for me 'Rock On' is going to stay alive," Akhtar said.
