As is known, the IFC (Indian Film Company), which holds the worldwide rights of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision's 'Kidnap', has decided to postpone the film film's release from 22nd August to 2nd October. The six-week postponement has been done because the 'Ramzan' month of fasting would begin during the first week of September. Since a number of muslims, who observe fasting during the month do not watch films or indulge in any entertainment activities at that time, IFC felt, it would affect the box-office performance of the film.
The same date will also see the release of Abhishek Bachchan's much awaited SFX extravaganza 'Drona', Salman Khan's 'Wanted Dead And Alive' and may be Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini'.
