Eros’ experiment to revive its 'Aa Dekhen Zara' in the multiplexes last week, failed. 'Aa Dekhen Zara' was released on 27th March, just when the production and distribution sectors were gearing up to suspend all new releases in a bid to boycott the national multiplex chains.

The multiplex chains at that time were trying their best to avert the impending suspension and when they failed, they decided to boycott 'Aa Dekhen Zara'. As a result, Eros’ film had to remain content with a lopsided release.

That is why, Eros revived the film in the multiplexes on 12th June, as soon as the issues between producers/distributors and the multiplex chains were settled. But the strategy misfired because collections in the multiplexes were weak.
