'New York', which released worldwide on June 26th 2009, has grossed Rs.35 crores worldwide in its release 3-day weekend and has broken all earlier opening weekend collection records for 2009.

The movie has also had an impressive opening across all markets. 'New York' has opened at the number 3 slot on the Australian charts and at number 10 in the UK this weekend. The movie has also been the top weekend earner in the UAE for 2009. The film has grossed $467,694 in the US.

Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan, released in over 900 screens worldwide.
