It is now clear that despite the doomsday prophecies of a section of the trade and pseudo critics, Indra Kumar's 'Double Dhamaal', the follow up to his 2007 success 'Dhamaal', is a clear winner.

The film has netted an impressive 37 crore (8 crore more than the enitire run of Dhamaal') during the opening week itself.

The second weekend too is progressing satisfactorily despite 'Delhi Belly' and 'Bbuddah.. Hoga Terra Baap'. Not only that, the film has also done quite well abroad without any Overseas savvy star.

Apart from the hilarious punchlines and comic joy ride, an outstanding feature has been the eye-filling locales of Pearlof The Orient Hong Kong and the Casino City Macau.

When we asked one of the stars of the film, Ashish Chaudhry, he credited it to the cinematographer. He told us, "Aseem Bajaj has captured the Hong Kong-Macau beatyu like a dream (including The Venetian). Even Mumbai's Ballad Pier (The 'Basanti' scene) looks beatiful."
