New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Deeply hurt over the killing of innocents in a wave of bomb explosions in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt did not celebrate his 49th birthday today. "I find no reason to celebrate my birthday when a large number of people have been killed in bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad," he told PTI by telephone from South Africa.

"I feel saddened when innocent people are killed in terror attacks," said the actor who popularised "Gandhigiri" in his film "Munna Bhai MBBS".

"My heart pours out for those families which are victims of sinister designs of militants who are hell bent on destroying communal harmony in the country," he said.

Dutt, who is in Capt Town in connection with a shoot of his film, expressed anguish over reports that Mumbai was on the hit list of terrorists.

He said he hoped timely action would be taken to foil nefarious designs of the ultras.
