Hyderabad and Secunderabad were in the grip of 'Magadheera' fever on 31st July.

The Telugu film, starring Chiranjeevi’s son, opened to a tumultous response in 55 cinemas of the twin cities. All the shows of all the cinemas were packed to capacity and cineastes were seen clamouring for tickets.

The tremendous craze for this film is said to have adversely affected the initial of 'Love Aaj Kal' in the two cities.
