Though it was widely publicised that former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly had been re-instated as the Knight Riders, that is not the case.

Speaking at an event in New Delhi, owner Shah Rukh Khan said all outstanding issues of the Knight Riders would be sorted out in the meeting.

"The whole team is getting together for the first time after the IPL on August 4. All the decisions on the captain, the coach and hopefully a formula for winning will be decided on that day," he said.
