Many in the trade are wondering what Sunny Deol’s new production venture, 'Chamku', is all about. The unusual title is actually the nickname of the hero (Bobby Deol) in the film.

His real name is Chandramohan Singh. Inspired by a real-life story, 'Chamku' has been directed by Kabeer Kaushik who had earlier made 'Sehar' (starring Mahima Chaudhry and Arshad Warsi).

'Chamku' depicts the journey of a Naxalite from Bihar, who has been secretly tutored under a governmental programme and trained to kill.

Set in real time, the film has deadly fights. Besides Bobby, it stars Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Rajpal Yadav, Arya Babbar and Danny Denzongpa
