Sunny Deol Claims Rs.200 crore Damages From Reliance´s 92.7 Big FM!

Sunny Deol went ahead by adding, “It is cheap comedy in very bad taste. A film artist and particularly an artiste, who is holding an image of lead hero/macho man, cannot be portrayed as a funny/comic figure before the people at large and that too, casually and or/regularly such that he becomes a laughing stock.”

Ashok Sarogi said, “All kind of derogatory, defamatory remarks have been made against my client, his father and his brother in the show. It went ahead to utilize cheap comedy and comments with the voice, pattern and style of Sunny Deol and his father. And more over the station is using Sunny’s name which makes people believe that Sunny Deol is actually participating in the show.” They felt this is very misleading and can go ahead to create misconceptions for actors who has a public figure.

The lawyer even said that, Radio Station has been given a notice period of 7 days to compensate damage of Rs.200 crore to the actor. And if they don’t get any response from the Radio station then they will go ahead with filling a suit against them in Bombay High Court. They won’t even hesitate to initiate criminal proceedings under sections 449 and 500 of defamation and punishment of defamation respectively.

The whole idea of holding a press-conference from Deol’s side had nothing to do against mimicry or imitating actors but, medium which everyone listens and follows is used for cheap way of earning money which is not in good spirit. And they hold social responsibility and try not to harm any one’s image or character.

Everyone is waiting that how BIG FM will revert back to these charges and asked compensation from Deol’s side.
