New Delhi, Aug 10 (PTI) Aspiring singer and musician Rishi Sachdev is confident of making an entry in the world of commercial music with his debut solo album 'Rishi,' released recently. "If you are a good singer, people will definitely take notice," the singer who grew up learning his music in Delhi says. "I have always believed that music-lovers should enjoy my music. I want my music to reach those people who have the ability to appreciate it." The album consists of nine tracks, each belonging to a different genre of music. "I have tried to incorporate in this album all the flavours of music that I have learnt. One can tune into different kinds of music in this album be it from dance to hip-hop and from ethnic to folk." His personal favorites in this album include'Saamne', a dance number and 'Zameen', a song with an earthy feeling to it.

Rishi, who completed his formal music training in Australia, has spent his last two years producing and recording the album. Unlike many first-timers, he hardly struggled to get his album released. " After completing the recording of my album, I met Universal to get my work reviewed. After listening to the album they gave their nod to back it almost instantly," he says.

Having obtained a scholarship certificate and a diploma in music, not to forget the experience of teaching western music during his stay in Australia, Rishi has now engaged himself into learning the nuances of Indian classical music.

The singer, who is also adept in playing guitar and piano, will begin his tour of India starting later this month with his music band 'Radius', that he formed after returning to India two years ago.
