Swine Flue Scare Hits Box-Office In Delhi-NCR
- Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant           Let us know what you think about this story

With more and more cases of the dreaded swine flue surfacing in different parts of the country (especially Pune), the tremors are being felt across India.

In fact, a region considered quite 'swine flue free', the Delhi-NCR (New Delhi plus Ghaziabad, Noida, Kaushambi, Gurgaon and Faridabad) has reported many cases, leading to closure of many schools.

People have been advised to keep away from crowded and confined places. The result is that the restaurants and hotels as well as cinemas have seen an alarming drop. One of our Delhi based contact informs as that cinemas have been hit hard and latest releases like 'Love Aaj Kal', 'Agyat' and 'Tere Sang' are witnessing low occupancies, which will be reflected in next week's collections.

Here's hoping for quick remedial measures from the concerned authorities.
