Amole Gupte: From Picking up ‘Stars on the Ground’ to ‘Counting Dreams’

Amole Gupte, the master storyteller who will now be seen in 'Kaminey', has already started thinking of his next script, which is reportedly titled 'Sapnon Ko Ginte Ginte' (Counting Dreams), apparently another family movie based on children. The award winning writer of 'Taare Zameen Par' (TZP) has confirmed during an interview at a radio station in Dubai that he has been “...working on the script from quite a long time, and will go hunting for suitable child and other actors after a span of around 10 days, [i.e.], when the script is completed”.

'Sapnon Ko Ginte Ginte' will be a universal movie based on the life of children, just like 'Taare Zameen Par' was, Gupte was heard saying, as also the fact that unlike TZP (in which Aamir Khan took over the director’s mantle, which generated a lot of controversy later) however, he would be directing as well as producing the movie himself.

Here’s wishing this fantastic writer-director the best of luck for his next movie. We all are expecting yet another masterstroke from Gupte, just like TZP was.
