The release of 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince', the forthcoming film on the boy wizard, has been pushed back from November '08 to the summer of '09.

According to Warner Bros., the November release was derailed because of the writers' strike which brought all Hollywood film projects to a standstill for three months from end '07 to beginning '08.
