Katrina Kaif "Is Currently Single"

Katrina was responding to a recent statement by Salman Khan, with whom she has been linked, while interacting with media here last night.

''My stand that a girl is single till she ties the knot is the one I have stood by for many years now. Sometimes, it is hard to take decisions on personal or professional relationships, and the assumptions and glare of the media does not help,'' the actress told mediapersons.

''Once you have commited yourself, you should stand by it, except when the situation and equation changes. To sort matters out in front of the public or the media is more than I can take,'' she said.

The actress, who is currently at the top of her game with a string of box office hits, said her philosophy was to give her best in everything she does -- be it personal or professional.
