Reena Kapoor joins ´saas vs bahu´ reality show

After a two month absence, she will be seen in 'Saas vs Bahu', a dance show to be aired on Sahara One channel, where reel-life mother-in-laws would be pitted against their daughter-in-laws.

"I have no aptitude for dancing. Yet I agreed to be a participant, as I took it as a challenge," she told PTI.

Television these days is full of "Saas-Bahu" drama and the actress says she expects the show would be ranked highest on the drama quotient.

"The older generation (saas) will this time get an opportunity to showcase their talent and enthusiasm," she adds.

When asked about allegations that reality shows were over-dramatic and even scripted, she agrees and adds that there is hardly any 'innocence' left on television these days.

"But everything cannot be scripted. Even if something happens naturally or accidentally in the show, people tend to think that it is scripted," she says.

She also fears that the real content in the show may get suppressed by these allegations.

When asked about the reality show, "Big Boss", she says their format is completely different from other reality shows on television, where participants have no privacy, and are constantly under mental pressure.
