After a successful run on small screen, the 'Khichadi' family is making a transition to the big screen and they want Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to wish them well.

The 'Kichadi' actors have written a letter to Shah Rukh seeking his best wishes as the actor too started his career from television serials like 'Fauji' and 'Circus'.

The big screen adaptation of 'Khichdi', which made Parekh family and its members Hansa, Praful, Babuji, Himanshu and Jayshree household names, will be released by Fox Star Studios on October 1."

"We have written a letter to Shah Rukh Khan, we have written it in a language we all understand. In the letter we have expressed our gratitude towards him for the path he has lead for us."
