 Amy Jackson is following in the footsteps of pop star Katy Perry and will soon launch her own line of fake lashes. While Katy Perry launched her signature line of extension and color lashes in association with a cosmetic brand, Amy is working on this venture with a friend who has a background in the beauty industry. Amy's signature line will have not just lash extensions but hair extensions as well as she personally enjoys experimenting with her looks.
While extensions are a major rage in London, they are just about finding their time in the spotlight in metro cities in India and the actress is hoping to cash in on the trend. Details of the venture are under wraps for the moment but Amy will be back next month after setting up the UK branch of her label and fly down to India to replicate the business model by year-end.
There are plans to launch the collection in major cosmetic departmental stores and high end salons.
When contacted Amy said, "Extensions are a rage in London but lashes and extensions have just begun to pique curiosity in Indian metros. I am hoping to cash in on the trend.I'm really excited because I think there is so much potential in this space. Also, it allows me to pursue my second passion after acting"
