New Delhi, Sept 3 (PTI) Now watch a movie on audio! Private radio station Mirchi' is scheduled to launch an 'audio film' of the soon to be released children's comedy 'Hari Puttar, a comedy of terrors.' Titled 'Listen to my movie,' the audio project, comprising track recordings from the film is said to be the station's initiative to cater to the visually impaired section of film-going audiences.

"We have seen that those who are blind do not hesitate to watch a film. In fact I have heard kids who can not see ask me 'Picture kab dilkha rahe ho? (When are you showing us a film?), she says adding," these kids just need somebody to fill in the bits and they enjoy movies just as those who can see," Riya Mukherjee, Vice President, Entertainment Network told PTI.

The 'audio film' would travel across the country for special 'ampings' (the audio equivalent of screenings) for the blind.

The 90-minute film traces the life of a 10-year-old Indian boy, played by Zin Khan, who relocates to Britain with his parents. Feeling lonely and unappreciated, Hari makes friends with a cartoon character from his fantasy world, and ends up a real-life hero.

'Hari Puttar - A Comedy Of Terrors' scheduled to be out in theatres on September 12 is directed by Lucky Kohli and Rajesh Bajaj and stars Sarika, Zain Khan, Sweeny Khara, Saurabh Shukla, Vijay Raaz, Jackie Shroff and Lilette Dubey.
