New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt who hopes to awe audiences with '1920', yet another horror film, confesses that ghosts and spirits always scare him. After his 2002 blockbuster 'Raaz' the producer-director, who failed to woo audience with his recent flicks, says he strongly believes in the existence of the supernatural."I do believe in ghosts and spirits. I am quite scared of them," says Bhatt claiming that the film is his "most ambitious project till date".
"I try to entertain people with new ideas. Some of them work and some don't. Mistakes do happen," says Bhatt about his recent failures that includes 'Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi', 'Speed,' 'Red,'and 'Ankahi,' released during the last couple of years. "As a filmmaker I am constantly inspired by good stories. And this time, I believe I have made a good film with an exotic storyline," he adds. But was it a wise decision to take relatively new faces for an ambitious project like this? "There are actors who are salable but not available and then there are actors who are available but not salable. We make four or five films in a year and can not afford to wait for established actors," he says. As far as new actors are concerned, the director says he had always found it easy to work with them and had been quite lucky. He is happy with the way Rajneesh and Adah have acted in the film.
