In earlier days, friendship was the a popular concept behind songs and these songs were loved equally by listeners, so much that whenever friendship is mentioned, only those particular evergreen songs are hummed everywhere even now. Another addition to this genre is the song Tak Dhoom from the film Desi Kattey, which is being loved by listeners all over and has registered a good number of views on YouTube.

Kailash Kher has written and composed the song apart from going behind the mike with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

"It has been a long time since a song solely based on friendship came out. This song means a lot to me not just because it showcases friendship in the film, but also because it signifies the friendship that Rahat and I share.", said Kailash Kher when asked about this song.
