‘Blue’ has been shot in exotic locations such as the Bahamas and is based on the search for treasure buried deep beneath the ocean. Akshay underwent intensive deep-sea scuba diving training in Bangkok with most of the scenes filmed underwater. International pop star, Kylie Minogue, also makes her Bollywood debut in the movie, with a pivotal role, playing herself, as well as appearing in the title track of the film, music for which was composed by multi-Oscar winner, A.R. Rahman (‘Slumdog Millionaire’). ‘Blue’ promises to be one of Akshay’s best action films to date and features an extremely dangerous escapade 150ft underwater, in which he performs a jaw dropping fight sequence without wearing an oxygen mask or diving goggles.

An edge of the seat treasure hunt that never lets up the pace, ‘Blue’ showcases Akshay Kumar at his shining best. Prepare to gasp for air as ‘Blue’ releases in cinemas worldwide on 16th October 2009.
